Folded electronics

A folding residency that explored textile technologies and construction methods to design, fabricate and analyse three-dimensional dynamic materiality in electronic textiles.

The focus was on sensor structures achieved by knitting, weaving, pleating and coating prototyping techniques. Material behaviour and possible design spaces emerging from co-working were explored.

The residency was coordinated by Professor in Wearable Computing Berit Greinke at Berlin University of the Arts and Einstein Center Digital Future (ECDF).
