BIT Maker Collaboration uses the Bio-Inspired Textiles framework developed by Dr. Veronika Kapsali to explore sustainable textiles inspired by biological structures for resource efficiency, longevity and recovery.

Cellular structures in biology were the starting point to explore expandable, lightweight and weight bearing textiles.
